Our Amigos in Tijuana |
|
|
|
Everyone knows that hostels are designed for the
budget minded traveler— the adventurous explorer
who wants to experience the world, without breaking
the bank. One of the greatest benefits of HI
membership is the vast network of discount
partnerships available to our guests and members.
Aside from the national partnerships with such
businesses as Travelex for duty-free currency
exchange, there are hundreds of local businesses
around the US that give discounts to card carrying
members of HI.
With our neighboring country Mexico only a hop, skip,
and jump away, HI-San Diego has had the exciting
opportunity to extend our discount partnerships
south of the border. Through our many trips to
Tijuana including our “Mexican Folk Art & Shopping
Tour” we have been able to establish and maintain a
number of wonderful relationships with local Tijuana
businesses.
We want to thank all of our local partners for being
involved in the hostelling movement and playing a role
in helping to fulfill our mission to help all, especially
the young, gain a greater understanding or the world
and its people through hostelling.
