| Holiday Gift Ideas for the Traveler |
 |
|
We need your help! We are getting ready to publish
our annual article on holiday gift ideas for the traveler.
This year we want to know about your favorite gifts for
the traveler in your life. Whether a book or a gadget,
we want to know about it so that we can share your
great ideas in our winter newsletter.
We would also like to hear about the next travel
adventure you have planned. Let us know where
you're headed in the world and what inspired you to go
there.
Please send responses to
execdir@sandiegohostels.org
Response deadline is November 11th.

THE BIG TRIP CONTEST |
|
|
|
HI-USA and the San Diego Council are proud to bring
you The BIG TRIP Contest. In conjunction
with Earthchild Productions, producers of the award
winning documentary travel film, "A Map for Saturday",
we are giving you the opportunity to win your own
hostelling trip around the world, just like the trekkers
in the film.
To enter, explain in 400 words or less why you
deserve this ticket to the adventure of a lifetime. Why
do you want to travel? Why is now the right time for you
to go on such a trip and why haven't you done it until
now?
We're looking for someone who will make the most of
this opportunity and help articulate to others (through
a travelblog, podcast, photos or video) the joys and
challenges of long-term travel as they experience
them.
To enter, e-mail your essay to
contest@amapforsaturday.com by November 30,
2007.
