Ways to Give
Hostelling International USA (HI-USA) relies on individual contributions, corporate donations and foundation funding to support its many educational programs and hostel development. We are a nonprofit organization 501(c)3 and all donations are tax-deductible.
You can contribute in the following ways:
Designated Gifts: Your contribution can be earmarked for a particular hostel or program, for example, the hostel in Point Loma, or the Cultural Kitchen youth program.
Planned Gifts: If you would like to make a gift of stock or property, or if you are considering a bequest, HI-USA can translate your love of hostelling into action.
Matching Gifts: Your gift to support hostelling can do even more when your employer matches your gift. Check with your human resource department and see if your employer has a matching gift program.
Combined Federal Campaign/United Way Campaigns: If your workplace participates in state or national Combined Federal Campaigns, consider a payroll deduction to HI-USA.
We are a United Way/CHAD Certified Agency. Our United Way number is 6326.

HI-USA, San Diego Council is partnering with Ralphs
Supermarkets to raise funds for our Youth Education and Outreach Programs.
Supporting the San Diego Hostels has never been easier.(Please note: Ralph's has recently launched a NEW version
of its 'Ralphs Rewards' program - which means that everyone in the program will be receiving a new card - You must
re-register your new card).
Participation is easy. By simply registering your Ralph's with HI-USA, San Diego Council (San Diego Council), every time you swipe your card at the register, the San Diego Council receives a donation of up to 4% of your total retail purchases.
Imagine, supporting your favorite non-profit just by doing your weekly
grocery shopping.

Click on Communnity Contributions in the box on the left.
Enter HI-USA, San Diego Councils NPO Number - 82125
Your Club Card number is the 13-digit number printed on the back of your card. This number is also printed on the bottom of your receipts, when you use your card at the register.
Fill out the form and the next time you shop - check the bottom of your receipt and our name should be listed!
It's easy for your shopping dollars to be help young people discover the educational value of hostelling. 100% of the contributions received through this campaign will be designated to our Youth Education and Outreach Programs.
